Dyna doubles up

DYNA MIGHT continued her climb up the handicap by winning the final race at Thirsk this afternoon.

In what turned into a tactical affair, Andrew Mullen gave Dyna a very skilful ride to sit upsides the leader at halfway and press for home turning in, to scoot clear and win by a comfortable length at the line. She proved here she handles soft ground and has the pace to quicken off a slow gallop.

Since being stepped up to 1m4f, and having cheekpieces applied, Dyna Might has finished 1st, 2nd, 1st, with improvement still to come.

In earlier races on the card, ALIENTO and EYES OF FIRE ran well in their separate divisions of the two year old novice auction over 6f. And KROY ran a mighty race to finish third in the 3yo sprint handicap, appearing to be drawn on the wrong side but getting very close at the winning line. His turn is surely not far away.
